Before founding Vitruvius, Christopher Janian was a Development Executive at H&S Properties Development Corp. for 6 years. Chris's notable projects included the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, Legg Mason World Headquarters, Spinnaker Bay Apartments, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Homewood Suites, and The Vue Condominiums. He also spearheaded some of the largest retail and restaurant deals in the city, including Wit & Wisdom (A tavern by Michael Mina), Under Armour Brand House, J. Crew, Anthropologie, Lululemon, and MAC Cosmetics. After H&S, Chris helped form Beatty Development Group and worked primarily on the Harbor Point neighborhood masterplan and the Exelon Tower.
Chris has been recognized by multiple publications for his professional and community accomplishments as an “Influential Marylander”, one of Baltimore’s “Top 40 Under 40” and a “Very Important Professional” in the state of Maryland.
